Description

Isopropyl Titanate(TIPT) is a type of very lively primary alcohol titanium oxide; it hydrolyzes when contacted with moisture in air. TIPT is mainly used as catalyst in esterification reaction or transesterification,also being used as catalyst of polyolefin. It can be used to improve the adherence and crosslinking of resin having alcohol group or carboxyl group, used in heat resistant and corrosion resistant coating. It also can be used in the manufacture of glass and glass fiber.

Usage

(1). Exchange Reaction for Esters

(2). Used as additives and intermediates in chemical products

(3). Used to make adhesives and as catalysts for transesterification and polymerization

(4). It can be used to prepare adhesives for metal and rubber, metal and plastics, catalysts for transesterification and polymerization, and raw materials for pharmaceutical industry.

(5). It is mainly used as catalyst for transesterification and condensation in organic synthesis. It is often used as precursor to prepare titanium dioxide (titanium dioxide).
