Mitiglinidecalcium, chemically known as (2S) -2-benzyl-3 -(cis-hexahydro-2-isodihydroindole-carbonyl Chemicalbook) propionate calcium salt dihydrate, is clinically used in the treatment of Ⅱ type diabetes mellitus. It was developed by Kissei Pharmaceuticals in Japan and was first marketed in Japan in May 2004.
