Cyclopentyl methyl ether is a new environmentally friendly high performance hydrophobic ether solvent, referred to as CPME, which can replace ether solvents such as tetrahydrofuran, methyltetrahydrofuran, methyl tert-butyl ether and dioxane. CPME (cyclopentyl methyl ether) is a new generation of hydrophobic ether solvent.
