Application:
UV-1130 is a benzotriazole UV absorber used in the coating industry. This product is easy to emulsify and is especially suitable for waterborne systems. UV-1130 with high temperature resistance and anti-extraction properties is very suitable for automotive paint, It can also provide sufficient protection for light-sensitive substrates such as wood in areas with high weather resistance requirements, such as industrial paints. In toluene solution, the cell thickness is 1 cm, and the maximum absorption wavelength is 346 nm.
The combination of UV absorber UV-1130 and hindered amine light stabilizer LS-144, LS-292 or LS-123 can significantly improve the weather resistance of the coating. The synergistic effect will make the automotive coatings work better, and have a good inhibitory effect on loss of gloss, cracks, chalking, foaming, peeling and discoloration.
