Application

Avobenzone is an oil soluble ingredient used in sunscreen products to absorb the full spectrum of UVA rays and a dibenzoylmethane derivative.

Because it can absorb a considerable range of ultraviolet light compared to other chemical sunscreens, it is widely used in many advertised broad-spectrum sunscreen products.

Studies have found that avobenzone can significantly inhibit the metastasis of colon cancer cells. Compared with traditional chemotherapeutic drugs, avobenzone has a high specificity for tumor targeting, side effects are small, and countermeasures for side effects are clear.
