2, 6-dimethylpyrazine is a heterocyclic organic substance. GB 2760 — 2001 stipulates that it is allowed to be used in food flavorings. It is mainly used in the preparation of chocolate, coffee, meat and nuts and other flavors. The determination was performed with the polar column method in gas chromatography (GT-10-4). 2, 6-dimethylpyrazine was separated from 2, 5-dimethylpyrazine by condensation polymerization of 1, 2-diaminopropane using a chromatographic column.
