Application

Photoinitiator 184 is available as an acrylate series of UV curable varnishes for paper, metal and plastic surfaces.

It is especially recommended for UV coatings that require only a slight yellowing even after prolonged exposure to sunlight.

184 is used in copy varnishes, plastic coatings, wood coatings, adhesives, lithographic inks, screen printing inks, flexo inks, electronic products, and is usually added together with other photoinitiators, together with UV absorbers when needed. For use, the recommended addition amount in the product is 2-5% w/w.
